Previous work: Magazine front cover

 

We created Big Issue front covers and I did Greta Gerwig and the Barrie film. We used photoshop, which would be useful for creating a magazine for A level. I made sure to keep the colours and fonts the same and edited the image to fit the newspaper. I also used intertextual references, part of the A level brief.

Previous work: Brand Marketing pitch

 

We did a brand marketing pitch and I chose to do JBL and Phoebe Bridgers. I gained experience using Canva and designing the pitch and creating a brand identity which I will have to do for the NEA, creating a brand identity for the artist/band. the brand pitch was music oriented which helps with the brief as it is specifically about a music artists identity.

Previous work: GCSE NEA

 

For my GCSE NEA I did a magazine, although it was a lifestyle magazine, the main article was about music which, similar to the Alevel Brief. I enjoyed doing a magazine and using Canva and photoshop so I could use this in making a music magazine. I will be using the same person on this cover in my A level NEA, whether I do a magazine or music video. On my magazine, I tried to maintain a brand identity throughout by using the same colours, and fonts, as I will have to do for the A level NEA.
